Our Youth Group is a group of caring and committed middle school and high school students. The goal of the Youth Group is to help our young people grow in their Christian faith and develop life-long friendships. We offer a variety of activities from the strictly fun (bowling, movie night, lock-ins) to the community-minded. Our young people can be found helping on the Midnight Runs (trips into Manhattan to feed and clothe the homeless), serving at church functions, assisting our Sunday School teachers, participating in Adopt-A-Road roadside cleanups of Route 6, and working alongside Pastor Chris on a service trip to Appalachia.
Pinecrest Lutheran Leadership Camp
Grace usually sends a large group of students to Pinecrest Lutheran Leadership Camp. Scholarships are available to defray the cost for any interested students.

2021 ELCA Youth Gathering – Minneapolis, MN
Every three years, the ELCA gathers Lutheran youth from around the country for an amazing, energizing, engaging, and spiritual experience. The Gathering meets in a different city each time; with preference given to cities that could really use the tourist dollars and volunteer help. In 2021, the ELCA Youth Gathering will be held in Minneapolis, MN!
While in Minneapolis, we will have opportunities to worship, learn, explore, and volunteer. Together with other members of the Metro New York Synod, we will participate in a Day of Service. Attending a Youth Gathering is truly a life-changing experience for all who participate!

The purpose of Faith Lens is to discuss with young people the current events of the week, looking at the events through the lens of faith–faith that is shaped by Word and Sacrament. Faith Lens uses scripture from the upcoming Sunday. Faith Lens looks at news and stories from local and state levels that are at the forefront of current events.
